Seven-Year Bloggiversary!
Seven years ago today, this blog came into being. It hardly seems possible, but as the old saying goes, time flies when you're having fun!
I was particularly reflecting today on the wonderful people this blog has brought into my life. Seven years ago, I couldn't have foreseen the friends I'd make and the experiences I'd have directly because of blogging. Just last night I had a lovely time enjoying dinner and then SOUTH PACIFIC (1958) with friends met through Laura's Miscellaneous Musings.
I'd list some of the terrific people I've gotten to know and the kindnesses they've shown me, except I'd hate to accidentally leave someone out! I hope you all know how very much you're each appreciated, whether you leave comments on the blog, chat with me via email or Twitter, share movies and books from your collections, send me links to interesting articles, meet me at a movie theater or Disneyland, or simply drop by to read Laura's Miscellaneous Musings.
I'm deeply grateful for the friendship and encouragement of each and every one of you!

A wonderful achievement, Laura! I can't think of many other bloggers who have stayed such a long course.
A point I would like to make, however, is the blog's consistent high quality. I never miss reading your blog every day, and reading your insightful movie reviews and reminiscences, current events in your cultural life, and seeing your wonderful photos.

Speaking of anniversaries, my husband Vinnie and I recently celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary! May all of us have happiness in all aspects of our lives! :-)
