Today at Disneyland: Rock Your Disney Side 24-Hour Party

After spending a couple of hours at DisneyCalifornia Adventure this morning, it was time to head into Disneyland.

Although skies were gray much of the day...

...the mood inside the park was festive and upbeat, and all the Cast Members we encountered were doing a wonderful job on a busy day.

Like California Adventure, Disneyland is now dressed for summer with red, white, and blue bunting up and down Main Street.

One of the most popular special menu items at the 24-hour parties of 2013 and 2014 has been a Chicken and Waffles meal at the Plaza Inn.

Thanks to the Chicken and Waffles, there was a long line at the Plaza Inn early this afternoon...

...but we didn't let that deter us and got a plate to share. It was as good as advertised!

And my husband couldn't resist the carrot cake!

Activities in Disneyland today included a Marvel superheroes movie marathon in Tomorrowland.

I'll take one, please!

We anticipated the parks would become crowded by late afternoon and headed home after a most enjoyable few hours. Have a great weekend!
