TCM Remembers Lauren Bacall

Here's the Turner Classic Movies memorial tribute to the late, great Lauren Bacall:



TCM will be announcing an on-air tribute to Lauren Bacall in the near future, and I will post details here when they're available.

In the meantime, here are tributes from Leonard Maltin and Betsy Sharkey.  

Update: TCM has now announced a 24-hour tribute to Lauren Bacall beginning the evening of September 15th and concluding on her birthday, September 16th.

The Monday evening programming replaces an evening of "Robert Osborne's Picks" which I assume will be rescheduled a few months hence.

The tribute will begin with PRIVATE SCREENINGS: LAUREN BACALL (2005), following by 11 films, including TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT (1944), THE BIG SLEEP (1946), DARK PASSAGE (1947), KEY LARGO (1948), YOUNG MAN WITH A HORN (1950), and HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE (1953).
