Sean Hannity Will Not Have TV Partner

Fox News Channel has made it official: HANNITY & COLMES will become HANNITY on January 12th.

I'm not entirely happy with this decision. While I didn't like it when the show descended into an out-and-out shoutfest, on the whole it has been an entertaining format. I would have liked to see Sean paired with someone like Kirsten Powers or Juan Williams.

I'm especially unthrilled that they are talking about transferring one of Sean's silliest radio segments, the "Hate Hannity Hotline," to TV. Please don't...

The new show will feature three in-studio guests each evening.

Oh Laura, you are so right...please don't bring the "Hate Hannity Hotline" to the new show. I hardly listen to his radio program anymore and that is one of the reasons. Ugh! Awful!

I would have loved to see Kirsten Powers as the replacement. She's one of the few(along with Juan for the most part) libs that is fair.

Ugh. Hannity, IMHO, tends toward pomposity and needs someone to be an equalizer. His presentation can be so obnoxious that often the point he is attempting to drive home gets lost. I would have loved to have seen Kirsten Powers, Juan Williams or even, yes, James Carville - anyone but just Hannity for a full hour!
