Beverly Garland Passes Away at 82

TV veteran Beverly Garland has passed away at the age of the age of 82.

Garland's screen career started in the 1950 noir classic D.O.A., which starred Edmond O'Brien; Garland was billed as Beverly Campbell. She is best-known, however, for her extensive career in television.

Garland played Fred MacMurray's wife in the latter years of MY THREE SONS, Stephanie Zimbalist's mother on REMINGTON STEELE, Kate Jackson's mother on SCARECROW AND MRS. KING, and Teri Hatcher's mother on LOIS AND CLARK.

Garland was also a businesswoman who owned the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in North Hollywood.
