NASA Chief Apologizes for Expressing Doubts on Global Warming
The head of NASA, Michael Griffin, has apologized for expressing his "personal views" doubting the existence of global warming.
It's an Alice in Wonderland world when scientists don't have to apologize for airing their "personal views" that global warming exists; it's only doubters who have to apologize...
Griffing told scientists at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena "I feel badly that I caused this amount of controversy over something like this."
Heaven forbid scientists debate scientific theories! Straying from politically correct orthodoxy is controversial, but silencing those with dissenting ideas is not.
Sad.

I'm well-acquainted with the executive director of Greeenpeace International, a guy named Gerd Leipold, an old family friend from Germany. In the 70s we used to visit Leipold in La Jolla when he was studying at the Scripps Institute. We sat on the beach for hours with his hippie friends listening to their hostile anti-American talk--all of them now prominent in the ecology racket. It was then as a teenager that I realized the environmental movement had nothing to do with the snail darter and spotted owl. It was a political movement--a Trojan Horse--to reshape the world politically along extreme Socialist lines. I know the Green Party well in Europe and its anti-humanism has definite antecedents in Nazi philosophies of sacred soil. (Heinrich Himmler, the head of the SS and concentration camps, used to take to his sick-bed if a fellow stepped on a slug in the forest.)In a sense, the global warming hoax is no different than Bush's immigration follies: the end game is to marginalize the self-sufficient, rational, industrial White Man who stands in the way of a New World Order and centralized government. The "environmental" movement takes it a few steps further in a slightly different direction; but both Bush and the tree-huggers know their aims cannot be accomplished with the stubborn, gun-owning cracker in the way--hence Bush's open hostility against his "base." Fact is, traditional American culture, the culture of the Protestant ethic, is under horrendous assault, from the White House on down. Today, in the Senate, Bush's stooges axed an amendment to the immigration bill that would have prevented felons from being amnestied and receiving government benefits. Your President wants child molestors "out of the shadows" to fondle your 12-year-old daughter in broad daylight--and then daisy-chain his family for the plea bargaining because we know "family values don't stop at the Rio Grande." Put away your Republican lawn signs and find out what your elite really have in mind for you.
Geez, Boney-
Why don't you get your own blog instead of glomming on to Laura's. Your "comments" are articles. We'll come read your stuff, just stop lurking.
I can't even read the first line because it's blending in with your google ID and the title. It sounds like an interesting story
You veel do a ve say...other opeenions vill not bee tolerated!
Ah, let bones stay. I must say he did a pretty good job of articulating the socialist underpinnings of the global warming hoax.
Naked Guy,
That vote of confidence causes the Bonester to dab his misty eyes. How unloved I've been, shunned and humiliated by the decorous commenters on this site: J.C. Piehole, Wolf Pinwheel, that Dana broad, some other goof, even Laura herself. Always the wallflower. I'm leaving now for good, never to return. As I go, old Naked One, may I reiterate the words of Benjamin Franklin on the steps of Independence Hall: May your flag always flap proudly in the wind.
Hey Boney-
Don't get your bag all in a bunch. I have no problem with your commenting (when it's not crude)... in fact I think I remember stating that I thought your story was interesting, my only problem was format. I think your stuff just gets long sometimes and I think you need to have a blog yourself, you know...to get things off your ribcage. I've been guilty of long comments, but I at least I've got my own place to vent.
Like I said before, I will come to read your posts, just let us know the site address.
Bag-
I have no true gripe with you and find some of your comments informative. I even agree with you here and there. It's just the delivery is a little crude and abrasive sometimes. I agree that you need a blog and I would most certainly read it if you did. Don't go ,though. I enjoy your side of the debates as you don't turn things into a shout fest like some others do.-------I agree with you on this comment and find your information informative. Environment aside, I've always seen this class of folk sulking in the wings shouting against the "police staters", "warmongers", "oil hungry" and rich while they quietly turn the country into a concentration camp punishing anyone that is different or may feel that humans are the dominant species.
