Coming to DVD: The Aristocats, 101 Dalmatians
Disney fans can look forward to the release of two animated classics early in 2008.THE ARISTOCATS will be released on February 5, 2008. The extras are fairly minimal, including an "Aristocats" scrapbook, a storybook and game. The extras on this Special Edition sound more like one would find on a Gold Edition.
Nonetheless, this is one we've never owned so I'm looking forward to finally adding this to our Disney shelf.
On March 4th 101 DALMATIANS will be a 2-Disc Platinum Edition release.This DVD will have plentiful extras including a "making of" documentary, deleted songs, the correspondence between Walt Disney and 101 DALMATIANS author Dodie Smith, and more.
According to Ultimate Disney, FANTASIA and PINOCCHIO are slated for the Platinum Edition treatment in 2009.
