Disney Reacquires Disney Store Chain

Walt Disney Co. has bought back its Disney Store chain from Children's Place, a deal I first posted about when it was proposed last March.

Disney will close approximately 100 low-performing stores in the U.S. and Canada.

It's expected that Disney will move away from the overwhelming supply of plush animals which has dominated the store's shelves in recent years. We can only hope!
