New Book: One-Pot French
I spotted this beautiful book yesterday afternoon at Costco. ONE-POT COOKING, which was published last fall, is by Jean-Pierre Challet.
A review at In Mama's Kitchen says "The result for the home cook is glorious meals that make no compromise but don't require multiple steps...a marvel of simplicity."
And a review at BlogCritics Books says "One Pot French is a nice offering for the beginning or intermediate cook looking to take on the world of French cuisine in a non-pretentious, easy to learn form. You might need more than one pot, but not many more, and the overall results will certainly be worth it."
I may have to add this one to my collection in a few weeks. In the meantime, perhaps I'll soon have the chance to sample some French cooking in France!
