TCM Classic Film Festival Announcements

Last month Turner Classic Movies announced the dates and theme for the 2022 TCM Classic Film Festival.

The 2022 theme is "All Together Now: Back to the Big Screen," with the festival to be held in Hollywood April 21-24, 2022.

Today TCM announced that passes will go on sale to the public on November 18, 2021.

My previous post has information on pricing.

The festival's first ten films were also announced today. Half of them have been previously reviewed here: JEWEL ROBBERY (1932), ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES (1938), KEY LARGO (1948), IT'S ALWAYS FAIR WEATHER (1955), and THE PAJAMA GAME (1957).

The other five titles are THE GAY DIVORCEE (1934), A STAR IS BORN (1937), GIANT (1956), A MAN CALLED ADAM (1966), and DRUNKEN MASTER II (1994).

Keep watching the films page on the festival website for additional titles to be announced.

TCM also released a new 30-second video with the pass sale date and clips from the movies.

I'll periodically post updates here as additional festival news develops!
