Disneyland: Valentine's Day
It's hard to believe a month ago today was Valentine's Day!
My mom and I spent a beautiful morning at the park...
...where there were plenty of pink, red, and purple floral displays.
We enjoyed a ride on It's a Small World, which was also looking lovely:
The photo below of the River Belle Terrace was taken from aboard the Mark Twain. The scaffolding at the right surrounds the Adventureland Treehouse, which is being converted from Tarzan's Treehouse back to something closer to the original Swiss Family Robinson design.
The Sailing Ship Columbia, photographed from the Mark Twain:
It was exciting to see the Lilly Belle car out on the tracks!
As part of Disney's centennial celebration there are numerous souvenirs available celebrating the company's early days, including a number of items featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. This mug joined my collection!
I love that the mug celebrates the Walt Disney Studio's original location on Hyperion Avenue in Hollywood.
Above, a Walt Disney Studios cap, and below, a tote bag featuring bits of Disneyland ephemera. I got the bag also!
There's a short but sweet Mickey & Friends centennial "cavalcade" on Main Street U.S.A. in the afternoon:
Coming soon: Photos of the recent Princess Nite party.

So pretty! I love seeing the flowers.
Glad you've enjoyed the photos, Deb! I always enjoy the ever-changing, beautiful landscaping in Disneyland.
Best wishes,
Laura
