The Shelf on the Air

Our friends J.C. Loophole and Wolf Flywheel of The Shelf will be doing an Internet broadcast Saturday, August 4th, at 4:00 Eastern, 1:00 Pacific.

They plan to discuss the '80s and pop culture, particularly favorite films of the '80s.

Details for how to listen are at the above link. If you miss the live broadcast, you can listen via an archived recording.

Sounds like fun!

....and it was a bust. Technology was against us in a major way. Hopefully blogtalk will get some of the issues worked out. They don't receive cell phone calls too well. If you listened, please forgive and pass it off as rookie mistakes.

Sorry to hear about the technical difficulties! I got home too late to listen live but planned to listen to the archive. Sounds to me like this is all part of the normal experimentation with such new technology -- I applaud you for doing it!

Best wishes,
Laura

Well everytime in the recording when JC thought he lost me, I was still there so he wasn't hearing me for a large portion which made conversation difficult. We plan to iron out the kinks this week so we're ready next Saturday. You should listen to the archived portion anyway if only for the comedy of the thing. It had some decent parts, though.
