Western Roundup at Classic Movie Hub: Kanab, Utah
I'm pleased to share the news that my latest Western RoundUp column is now available at Classic Movie Hub.
I'm especially excited about this month's post, which recounts my recent visit to a location from one of my all-time favorite Westerns, WESTWARD THE WOMEN (1951).
I wrote about WESTWARD THE WOMEN in my very first post at Classic Movie Hub in June 2018, so it seems very "full circle" to return to that film three years later and share my visit to one of the film's key sites in Utah.
Please click over to Classic Movie Hub to check it out, and thanks very much for reading!

I followed your link to your first post to see some of your favorite westerns and am pleasantly surprised at how similar our tastes run. My wife is also a fan of Westward the Women. It is a fine picture made more so by how strongly the women are portrayed. It is great to see them in a different light.
Also, am a huge fan of McCrea. His, and the films of Scott and Audie Murphy may not be great westerns in the Mann/Ford sense of them but they are always enjoyable to watch. Can't ask for more than that.
Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment, Chris! I'm glad you enjoyed my original Classic Movie Hub post as well.
Scott, Murphy, and especially McCrea are all big favorites of mine. I write about them often both here and at Classic Movie Hub and hope you'll enjoy reading more at both sites in the future. As you say, their films are always enjoyable to watch.
Best wishes,
Laura
