Dario Franchitti to NASCAR

This week a formal announcement is expected that this year's Indy 500 winner, Dario Franchitti, will be coming to NASCAR in 2008.

Franchitti will be leaving open-wheel racing to drive the No. 40 car for Ganassi Racing.

Franchitti is married to actress Ashley Judd.

Update: Franchitti won the Indy series title today.
