New Book: The Real Joyce Compton

Actress Joyce Compton, along with her Southern accent, seems to pop up regularly in my movie viewing.

I was interested to learn that Bear Manor Media has published a book on the actress, who died in 1997. THE REAL JOYCE COMPTON: BEHIND THE DUMB BLONDE MOVIE IMAGE, by Compton and Michael Ankerich, was published in late July.

I'm glad to know that Compton's role in Hollywood history has been chronicled and look forward to checking the book out in the future.
