Today at Disneyland: Halloween Time Fireworks

We headed out to Disneyland this evening to see the Halloween Time Halloween Screams fireworks.

Fortunately, while it was crowded, it was still quite manageable. We had no trouble parking in the Mickey & Friends structure this week and had prime viewing spots in front of the Castle.

A bit of the decorating detail on Main Street USA:

The Halloween Screams show was quite impressive. It included projections on a large crystal-ball like structure at the left of the castle:

Most of the show was in a light-hearted vein, featuring Disney villains from Cruella De Ville (with black and white spots projected on the castle!) to Captain Hook to Maleficent to -- in what I thought was an inspired touch -- huffalumps and woozles from WINNIE-THE-POOH.

A high-quality video has been posted on YouTube for those who are too far away to see the show in person.

The finale (below) is especially impressive.

Disney has once again produced a unique fireworks show which was worth an extended wait in order to see it. We had a wonderful evening.

I'm so glad you liked the fireworks. You have some excellent photos there. We have been going once a week since it started so we can see it. Tomorrow we are going to see it back by Small World and then next Monday one last time in front of the castle.

Coming next, I notice on the calendar, is Tiana's Showboat Jubilee which begins Nov. 6. And then of course Christmas decorations, parade and fireworks. I love this time of year :)
