Disney's Aulani Resort

It's been announced that the resort Disney is building on Oahu will be called the Aulani.


One of the sketches from the Official Disney Parks Blog (above) suggests that Florida's Animal Kingdom Lodge may have influenced the design of the main lobby. There are also hints of the Polynesian.

My daughter and I saw a model at the D23 Expo last September and thought it looked wonderful.
