Quick Preview of TCM in May

Turner Classic Movies released an online preview of their May schedule today.

The May Star of the Month will be...the lovely Donna Reed.

At a glance it looks like TCM will show roughly 30 Reed films, ranging from her early MGM B movies to her Oscar-winning role in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY. Among the many titles to be shown are THE HUMAN COMEDY (1943), THEY WERE EXPENDABLE (1945), THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY (1945), GREEN DOLPHIN STREET (1947), GUN FURY (1953), and THE WHOLE TRUTH (1958).

I'm also excited to hear that TCM will be airing THE LIFE OF JIMMY DOLAN (1933), a pre-Code starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Loretta Young which is supposed to be excellent.
