Last Weekend at Disney California Adventure: Halloween Time 2018

Saturday we had a wonderful afternoon and evening taking in the Halloween Time sights at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure was decorated for the holiday! Click this or any other photo to enlarge for a closer look.

The Carthay Circle was decorated in the same style as last year:

Love the purple lights in the trees around the fountain in front of the Carthay Circle:

We also loved this creative ofrenda for Doc Hudson in Ramone's in Cars Land:

The neon lights at Flo's always look great, and you can just make out the spider web hanging from the sign:

The Ornament Valley backdrop for Radiator Springs Racers had seasonal lighting effects as well. And note the (real) crescent moon visible in the sky!

We also enjoyed photographing some of the park's great neon signs, such as this one for the Chinese restaurant...

...and this one from the Mexican restaurant in the Pacific Wharf area of the park.

Then it was on to Pixar Pier, which we'd never visited at nighttime:

The Incredicoaster and what is now called the Pixar Pal-A-Round (formerly Mickey's Fun Wheel, and before that, the Sun Wheel):

And finally, wrapping up with the Headless Horseman back on Buena Vista Street. The Horseman seemed somewhat less impressive this year, with the fog effects missing. Still, we had a great time!
