Latest TCM Classic Film Festival Announcements

TCM made a few new announcements this week regarding next month's TCM Classic Film Festival.

The latest announcements include, in part:

*Director-Screenwriter Alexander Payne at the world premiere restoration of PENNY SERENADE (1941), along with George Stevens Jr., son of the film's director, George Stevens

*Director Lawrence Kasdan and "to be announced" cast members at a 40th anniversary screening of THE BIG CHILL (1983)

*Director Steven Soderbergh presenting OCEAN'S ELEVEN (2001)

*Randy Haberkamp and Jerry Beck presenting Oscar-nominationed Looney Tunes cartoons in Club TCM

*Randy Haberkamp presenting Warner Bros. trailers in Club TCM

*Shari Belafonte and David Pierce giving a Club TCM presentation, "Banned in the South," about movie censorship in the South in the 1930s and '40s

*Bruce Goldstein of the Film Forum in New York hosting the trivia event "So You Think You Know Movies" in Club TCM

The TCM Classic Film Festival will take place in Hollywood from April 13th to 16th, 2023.
