The second cemetery we visited on our May trip, following
Carpinteria Cemetery, was the larger and nicely maintained
Santa Barbara Cemetery. It has lovely seaside views.
This visit was particularly special to me as the cemetery is the final resting place of one of my favorite actresses,
Jeanne Crain.
Santa Barbara is also where the great
Ronald Colman has a remarkably beautiful and fitting tombstone:

Vera Hruba Ralston.
Tab Hunter is buried there as well:
Fess Parker, beloved as Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone, has a very appropriate coonskin cap on his grave marker.

I would dearly love the chance to do that, Constance! I visited about 25 years ago when my father briefly lived in the area on a contract job, but I didn't see all of those and would be so interested in a new visit for the first time in so many years.
