A Special Day at the Big A
Today was Little League Day at Angel Stadium.
Several Little Leaguers were selected to join the Angels when they took the field at the start of the game. One child ran to each player's position and received an autographed ball from the player, then the kids ran off the field again so the game could begin.
That's my little guy standing at second base, having his ball signed by Erick Aybar.
What a thrill!
Each of the boys who went onto the field received a special t-shirt, cap, and plaque.
The Angels lost to the White Sox, but it was still a great day in the eyes of my son. :)

Wow that is cool. How did they decide which kids got the honor? (Too bad Howie Kendrick is on the DL, he's gonna be a hall of famer.)
Don't know, we got a call a couple weeks ago from the League President asking if he'd like to represent our league. :)
