Today at Disneyland: Halloween Time 2022
Tonight was my first Disneyland visit of the 2022 Halloween Time season, one of the prettiest times of the year at the park.
It was touching to see the flag at the Main Street Railroad Station (above) at half staff in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.
Orange bunting, pumpkins, and seasonal flowers are seen all up and down Main Street, U.S.A.
A close-up of the flowers:
These photos will be familiar sights for those who have seen my Halloween Time posts in years past, but I take great pleasure in seeing and photographing Main Street each and every year at this time!
Tonight was especially meaningful as it was exactly a year ago this evening that we attended the Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party at Disney California Adventure -- our first return to the Disneyland Resort since March 2020.
The Ray Bradbury Halloween Tree in Frontierland photographs better after dark, but since today's visit was relatively short, daylight will have to do!
Although our visit was brief, I came home with a new treasure. Alice in Wonderland (1951) is one of my favorite Disney films, and this find joins my small collection of one-of-a-kind Disney plates I enjoy using on a daily basis.
Related photos: Mostly Ghostly at Disney Studios (2019), Oogie Boogie Bash (2019), Oogie Boogie Bash (2021), Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit (2021).

Love these shots. Such a fall feel looking at the colors of the flowers and decorations, which always feels comforting to me. That plate is really cool!
Thank you, Deb! I couldn't agree more. "Comforting" is the perfect word. I always feel especially good when I'm in the park at this time of year. It feels warm and welcoming.
I'm really going to enjoy that plate!
Great to hear from you!
Best wishes,
Laura
